This site has lots of old and a few new photo's of Newcastle.The link takes you to a search box where you can type Byker,Heaton etc.
You can see lots of pics of the metro stations and bridges when they were getting built,Jesmond Dene and the Hoppings and tons more.This wil only appeal to Geordies but i know there is a lot of you out there.Yay to the Newcastle Uni for opening their photo archives.
