Backside firework prank backfires. When I heard this story I reckoned only a Mackem, AKA known as the "Great Unwashed" here in Newcastle, would be stupid enough try a prank like this and guess what? I was right. More proof of Mackem stupidity follows in this great clipping from a local paper a while back.
