I said I would probably miss Blog day and I did. :)
What with having a day off from posting yesterday as it was my birthday I thought it was better late than never. In no particular order here a 5 blogs that I recommend you take a look at. That's if you have not already.
brykmantra.com - A Blogger from Dallas, Texas who's interests include, but not limited to, his dogs and Flickr. Two of my favourite things.
Militant Platypus. A similar kind of place to here. Always good to read is this blog from Seattle.
Plep. Always interesting with plenty of links about different cultures, history, photography and much more. My description does'nt do it justice. Check it out.
Our Man in Hanoi. A fellow Geordie and all round good guy who is currently working in Vietnam for the KOTO project as a fundraiser.
Jaf Project. I will let John tell you about it...
My name is John. Born August 1952 in California's Bay Area. Later made my home in Northern Nevada. I have a permanent physical handicap that ended my career and brought me here (temporarily), to the southern Willamette Valley - what the natives called The Valley of Death.
I don't consider this a Blog, or myself a blogger. I don't give a rats ass about the blogosphere, aspire to be a part of it, or pretend this to be anything more than an Apache folder on my scratch built home computer - my attempt at system administration, web design and a collection of links I found interesting or absurd.
A few other things before I get back to the usual style posting on Look At This.
Thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday. I had a great day out with my family in Jesmond Dene if you wish to know.
My day was made even better by waking up to find out that Newcastle United had added to the signing of Michael Owen with the old toon favourite Nobby Solano. YAY!
All the on this day links for my post yesterday are always available by clicking on the different sites under the date header for each day that I post.
The script for this was knocked up by my big, but smaller, brother mmChronic at New Links. If you wish to easily add this cool script to your Blogger blog go here Adding On This Day to Blogger.
And finally, thanks to all who signed my guest map. I've been pleasantly surprised by the number of people who have signed it and all the compliments about this place.
Thank you all very much, the feedback makes it all the more enjoyable. Please go and sign it now if you hav'nt already.
