Something higher up the chain of life than Sundlind

Before Saturday's kick-off in the Cardiff/Scumderland game a minute's silence was held in memory of John Charles, one of the finest players this island has produced, who died earlier that day after a long illness.Of course the Mackem fans present chose to hurl abuse at all and sundry during this minute showing the nation what we already know, that they are lower than s%&t.These are the same Scumberland fans who managed to keep their ignorant rantings silent during a silence for Bob Stokoe last week on their own patch,The Stadium Of Sh&*e. ic Wales-City silence rival's shameful fans
Inevitably these actions worked against the team who faced a long trip back to the north-east with a 4-0 thrashing."I looked over at their fans and thought to myself, 'We're gonna really turn you lot over.' "We were going to try our best to beat Sunderland anyway, but what happened during that minute's silence really spurred us on. It made going for Sunderland so much easier." said Cardiff striker Peter Thorne.
I say north-east with some regret as people around the world may associate the Mackem Scum with us,being from the north-east.But to us they are just "The Great Unwashed" and play no part in our north-east.A few years ago, maybe 10 or more, our postcode changed from "Newcastle-Upon-Tyne" to "Tyne And Wear"

(Wear being Sunderlands river) which i still refuse to use.I still write my address as Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and i always will and so will Iluvnufc2 when he grows up.It's petty,i know, but it shall always be that way for the above and many more reasons which i cant be bothered to explain yet.Though i may some day.
