Coun Arnold said Newcastle manager Graeme Souness and chairman Freddy Shepherd should back his idea of a sports development project in the city to "put something back into the community". Once again Councillors are talking out of their @rse and trying to latch on to the recent public resentment at the latest goings-ons at Circus St. James. Then again i think he may have missed his chance to capitalise on said feelings as Newcastle have now won their last 3 games in a row and there does'nt seem to be too many people grumbling loudly now, barely a murmur to be precise. Amazing what a few wins can do for the city.

Chris Brown made a controversial return to the Sunderland side last night in their cup tie with the mighty Crewe. The 19-year-old was suspended earlier this month after being cautioned by police in relation to a airgun offence on Queerside.


It seems as though he is as good with his boots as he is with a gun as he managed a couple of goals in the game. Shame they lost though. Laugh here.

The one good point i see in GS' appointment is that he might do Kieron Dire in. He deserves a slap that little muppet.
